The Golden Triangle Tour is one of the most popular tourist circuits in India, known for its rich cultural and historical heritage. It encompasses three major cities in Northern India, forming a triangle on the map. These cities are Jaipur, Agra and Delhi.

Our tour begins in Jaipur but it can be customised to begin in Delhi as well.

ITINERARY

Day 01
– Arrive in Jaipur.

Our Services Begin

Reach hotel, check in and leave for sightseeing. If flight arrives too early, guests will head for sightseeing directly as early check ins are subject to availability.

Start the tour by visiting Hawa Mahal. This Palace of Winds is visually represented as a 5-story extension of a honeycomb with 953 windows, called jharokhas, adorned by intricate lattice works so that a cool breeze always persists inside this flamboyant palace.

Evening visit Jal Mahal. Overnight stay at Dera Amer Camps.

Day 02
– After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Start your day by visiting Amer Fort, the royal palace for Maharajas of Jaipur. With your English speaking guide explore this beautiful citadel, decorated with red and pink sandstone with obscure carvings of great artisans.

– After lunch, visit Nahargarh Fort situated on Aravalli hills. Embellished with delicate carvings and stonework, the Nahargarh Fort is an impregnable structure and together with its two neighboring forts – Amer and Jaigarh once stood as the strong defence of Jaipur city. The Fort was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the year 1734 as a retreat. The fort offers scenic view of Jaipur city.

– After visiting Nahargarh fort our next stop would be visiting Jaipur wax museum. Continue your city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace and Jantar Mantar (observatory for calculating time).

– Spend the evening exploring famous Johri Bazar market of Jaipur. Overnight stay at Dera Amer Camps.

Day 03
– After breakfast, check out and drive to a beautiful haveli in Shekhawati region (4 hours drive). During your stay at the Haveli you have several experiences to look forward to- cycle around the lazy village, go ride a camel on the famous sand dunes of Rajasthan, treat yourself at the Spa, sample fine teas from India, lounge by the pool, sip on a royal Martini at the bar, enjoy the evenings with the traditional art of storytelling by way of a puppet show or just curl up in a corner with a book.

– This could well be called one of Rajasthan’s best kept secrets.

– Overnight in the haveli.

Day 04
– After breakfast checkout from your hotel. Start your 7 hours drive to Agra city. Visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute.

– Check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Eco-tainers.

Day 05
– This will be the most spectacular morning you’ll spend on this trip. Visit the UNESCO world heritage site, the Taj Mahal, at dawn and see the golden rays of the sun kiss the marble domes. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal with construction starting in 1632 AD and completed in 1648 AD.

– After breakfast, check out and head to Delhi.

– Our first stop would be would be visiting Vrindavan. We first visit Banke Bihari mandir seeking blessings of Lord Krishna and Radha.

– Our next stop would be visiting Prem Mandir which was built in 21st century. The temple comprises of beautifully carved idols of Lord Krishna in white marble.

– Our last stop would be visiting ISKCON temple that holds a significance place among Lord Krishna devotees all around the world. We then head to Delhi.

– Check-in to your haveli in Delhi. Overnight stay in the haveli in Old Delhi.

Day 06
– After breakfast start your sightseeing of Delhi by visiting Jama Masjid, a 17th century mosque built by 5th Mughal emperor where 25000 people can pray together during month of Ramadan.

– Enjoy rickshaw ride in small bylanes of Old delhi covering Kinari Bazaar (market for artificial jewellery), spice market, cloth market.

– Our next stop would be visiting Red fort (royal fort of Mughal emperors).

– We reserve this day for the culinary delights of Old Delhi to tickle your taste buds.

– Overnight stay in the haveli in Old Delhi.

Day 07
– After breakfast, set off on a tour of Lutyen’s Delhi: Visit India Gate (Memorial dedicated for soldiers died during second world war), Teen Murti Bhawan, drive past President’s House and visit Connaught Place.

– Visit Qutub Minar (12th century complex that marks first invasion of Muslims to Indian land) and the Lotus temple (Bahai’s house of worship).

– We finish our day by visiting Akshardham temple complex. Back to the haveli.

– (Delhi tours can be customised to include a culinary experience of the Mughals, Kashmiris etc. and many more)

Day 08
– Departure day as per flight schedule.
