– We start your tour by picking you up from your hotel at 9:00AM. Our first stop would be visiting grandeur Akshardham temple, dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. Experience the impressive intricate carvings stones and splendid gardens. Experience the five separate halls with more than 100 gods statues reflecting ideas of Hindu Culture.
– Next we proceed towards Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and admire its arc-shaped architecture. Famed for its exquisite jali windows, spider web fine, depicting the intricate intertwining branches of the ‘tree of life’ that is best seen from the road that runs along the back of the mosque. See the beautiful artwork in the mosque, including the Tree of Life, and the lattice stone window, adopted by the reputed Indian Institute of Ahmedabad.
– Our next stop would be driving to Hutheesing Jain Temple. It was built during a severe famine that prevailed in 1848 for providing employment to hundreds of skilled artisans. There are as many as 52 shrines dedicated to the Tirthankaras. We would then visit to a local Indian restaurant for trying Gujrati cuisine.
– Lastly, we visit to the fantastic museum on Sardar Patel, the first home minister of independent India who united more than 500 princely states into the union of India. It is widely believed, if not for this Iron Man of India, a united India would never have been a possibility after the exit of the British from the sub-continent.
– You would be then dropped off back to your hotel at the end of day.
