Sikkim Backpackers Holiday
TRAVEL PLAN
Day 1 – New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok:– Meet and Greet on arrival and transfer to Gangtok – The Capital of Sikkim.
– After arrival in Gangtok we check in at the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends), following which the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.
– Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 – Gangtok – Lachen (129 kms; 6 hrs):– After breakfast we transfer from Gangtok to Lachen. En route guest can stopover at Naga Falls. Lunch can be had at Mangan.
– After arrival in Lachen, we check in at the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends) following which the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.
Day 3 – Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake – Transfer to Lachung:– We leave for Gurudongmar Lake early in the morning at 3:30 AM. Breakfast can be had at a local cafe in Thangu.
– After breakfast we driver further to the Lake. After the tour, we return to Lachen for lunch.
– Post lunch we transfer to Lachung. Overnight in Lachung.
Day 4 – Excursion to Yumthang Valley – Transfer to Gangtok:– After an early breakfast we depart early to visit Yumthang Valley. Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the ‘Valley of Flowers’ is a nature sanctuary with rivers, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains.
– After the tour we return to Lachung for lunch. After lunch we transfer to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.
– Optional: Ride to Zero Point, Katao, Kalapatthar at additional cost depending on time and weather conditions.
Day 5 – Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB):– Morning is free for the guest for packing & personal activities.
– After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for onward journey back home.
– Tour Ends.

– Lachung: Golden Fish / Similar
– Lachen: Yangla / Similar
– MAP in Gangtok.
– Meals taken enroute are not covered in the package.

1. 01 Non Ac Tata Sumo / Max / Similar for Gangtok Sightseeing.
2. All vehicles are provided on point to point basis and not at disposal. Vehicles will only cover the points mentioned in the itinerary.
3. All services with Tata Sumo / Similar will be to and from Local Taxi Stand in Gangtok. Departures from Gangtok in Sumo / Similar vehicles will be scheduled to start at 7:30 AM. Fare for local city taxi from Taxi Stand to hotel and vice verse needs to be paid directly by the guest.
