Hampi

ONE OF THE MOST ANCIENT VILLAGE OF INDIA WITH NUMEROUS RUINED TEMPLE AND COMPLEXES FROM THE VIJAYANAGARA EMPIRE!

India’s rich history has remained hidden for the past hundreds of years. Indigenous rulers reigned over the land for centuries, with compassion and service to their people. Many empires had kings who brought glory to their kingdoms, where riches flowed. These kings inspired musicians, encouraged the arts, built lavish temples and temple complexes, forts and fortified areas and even bridges.

It may seem like a page out of a fictional novel, until you visit Hampi.

The City of Ruins as it is called, Hampi is located over an area of 26 sq kms in Karnataka. This city was part of the Vijaynagar Empire that flourished in the 16th century. Temples, dance halls, bazaars, water tanks, underground passages…these have been excavated since the 1980s…

MISHA & JOHNSON, MUMBAI

To be honest, I wasn’t very comfortable with someone else planning my trip. But all those apprehensions were put to rest once I spoke with Ritu. She went beyond just asking for our trip budget and asked us about what we like doing on vacations, what kind of stay we prefer, activities, food preference and a lot more. She designed the itinerary to perfection. We didn’t have to worry about anything!!!
