Bhutan has some of the world’s best trekking opportunities for climbers and seekers. This little haven truly is paradise for both adventure enthusiasts and photographers alike.
But most treks in Bhutan pass through a desolate landscape where chancing upon another human being is a rare sight.
The Samtengang Trek is an exception since it takes you through villages where you will have the opportunity to not just photograph Nature but also the people of the village, and their way of life. Travel through and find out how this land is one of the happiest nations in the world, as we give you this chance to merge both wild and human interactions.
The trip will also proffer you the opportunity to visit Punakha Dzong and the legendary temple of the Divine Madman – Chimi Lhakhangconsidered a standing tribute to Drukpa Kunleg, the “Madman of the Dragon lineage”.
