You wished to explore Bhutan but the hikes you’ve heard that are a part of the country’s standard holiday packages are a deterrent. Worry not! We have custom designed a holiday for you that will allow you to experience the magic of Bhutan without climbing, hiking or taxing yourself.

The plan

 Day 01:

Arrival at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu. Travel time 1.5 hoursThimphu, check into hotel and do as much local sightseeing as possible (Buddha Statue, National Textile Museum – has stairs, Weaver Centre, Memorial Chorten etc.)
Lunch at Folk Heritage Museum Restaurant run by the Queen Mother & Dinner in-house

 Day 02:

Day of more sightseeing in Thimphu including Simtokha Dzong – has stairs, Changankha Lhakhang – has stairs, Thimphu Dzong in the evening
Evening get personalised stamps at the post office and shopping
Lunch at a designated restaurant in town & Dinner in-house

 Day 03:

Early breakfast and leave for Punakha district via Dochu La pass. Travel Time to Punakha is 2 hours
All sightseeing in Punakha (Chimi Lhakhang – this is a bit of a hike, Punakha Dzong – has stairs & an iron suspension bridge – a short walk)
Lunch at designated restaurant & Dinner in-house

 Day 04:

Early departure to Paro. Travel Time is 2.5 hours
Sightseeing – Paro Dzong – has stairs, National Museum, Kichyu Lhakhang, Dungtse Lhakhang
Lunch at a designated restaurant in town & Dinner in-house

 Day 05:

Early breakfast and leave for the picturesque Haa Valley via Bhutan’s highest motorable pass, Chele-La. Travel-time is 2 hours (this is a curvy road)
Lunch at the 400 year old home of a Bhutanese family & Dinner in-house

 Day 06:

Departure from Paro after breakfast.

The tariff

Pricing for this tour is INR 35,000/- per head*

What’s included:

1. All stay in 1 comfortable double room in 3 star properties on twin sharing basis
2. All internal transport by comfortable vehicle from pick up from Paro International Airport to drop off on day 06
3. All meals
4. All sightseeing
5. All entry fees to museums, monuments etc.
6. English speaking Guide on all days
7. Vehicle, driver charges, parking fees etc.
8. One 500 ml bottle of mineral water per person every day
